Comparing apples and Earth

Do you love that crisp crunch as you munch on an apple? And the smell of a hot roast beef roll? How about the feel of polished timber under your bare feet or a warm woolly jumper on a winter’s day? Does the rainbow swirl of an opal catch your eye? And does the thought of a scrumptious seafood lunch make your mouth water?

Each day, primary products derived from plants, animals and the environment provide us with food, shelter and clothing. Primary products provide the basic things we need to live and the little luxuries too. We rely on natural resource managers and primary producers to grow, harvest and extract primary products which are processed and delivered to our local supermarkets and shops.
