A Peep at Sheep

Peep at sheep kit3

A Peep at Sheep is a classroom exhibition box about sheep and wool for lower primary students. Brimming with hands-on goodies and fun activities the kit is sure to capture the interests of your students.

In the box you will find a fleece, sheep skull, wool product samples, posters for display around the classroom covering topics such as wool processing, sheep breeds, wool history and amazing facts about wool. There is a puppet show focusing on the cooling and warming properties of wool which students can present to the class and a lovely story book about Timothy and Wobbly the Woolly sheep.

The materials and activities contained in a Peep at Sheep best support the implementation of NSW Department of Education & Training’s Stage 1, Growing and Changing Connected Outcome Group (COG). The kit can also be used to support the Products and Services COG.

The mini exhibition will bring a little bit of the farm into your classroom. Students can take home a sample of quality wool and a passport of completed activities which once stamped qualifies them as wool ambassadors.

The boxes have been jointly funded by the Australian Wool Education Trust and Industry & Investment NSW. The fee to hire a box for a term is $30.

To book, download and fax an order form or call (02) 9872 0136.
